Wonderful on Tap

Kids nature activities

We love nature, because when we take care of nature, we take care of our water too!

Whilst some of our visitor sites are shut for the time being and we’re all spending a little more time indoors, it’s really important we take some time to go outside and enjoy nature.

Whether it’s bug hunting in your garden or a walk wildlife spotting, just being in nature is great for your kids health and wellbeing and encourages them to nurture wildlife too!

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing some fun activities you can do with your little ones. From making a bug house to cracking secret codes, whatever kind of outdoor space you have nearby, we’ve got something for them to enjoy and learn.

Each week we'll have a new theme, so keep an eye out on our facebook pages to see when the next ones are available!

We look forward to welcoming you back to our sites once they’re all open.

Our activities are suitable for KS1 (ages 5-7) and KS2 (ages 7-11). You can complete them online or print them.
