Save water this summer, and give nature a helping hand

Last year we had one of the hottest summers on record, and many of our reservoirs were left looking parched. So being smarter about how we use our water can make a big difference.

Our water. It’s precious. Together, let’s do right by it.

We know that as the weather heats up, it can be more difficult to save water but there are some small changes everyone can make. It could even help you save money on your bills. So let's be singing-in-the-shower-kinda proud of every last drop, and look after our water, so there's enough to go around for us, our neighbor, friends and grandkids too.

Don't forget, watching your water isn't just for the warmer months, it's great all year round - and you'll be helping the environment, too.

We all use water in different ways - often without thinking about it but saving water doesn’t have to be difficult.

Fix your household leaks

Simply send us a video of your leaky toilet, tap or shower, and we’ll look into getting it fixed.

We’re working on our water too.

Our water network needs to be fit for purpose – today and into the future, and by 2025 we’ll have invested more than £650 million into upgrading and improving it.

We don’t know what summer 2023 will bring. But we’re determined to make sure you get the most out of our wonderful water. Let’s work together on it.

Our teams also work hard to make sure that with every sip, swig and splash we're doing right by our environment and the communities we serve.
