There is one main car park which is situated next to Lower Shustoke.

Car parking charges

  • £1.50 for the whole day.

Parking charges apply for blue badge holders

You can buy an annual parking pass for £21, or a multi-site parking permit for £60

The site has a fairly flat two mile walk which is suitable for all.

Please be aware during autumn/winter the track can become exceptionally muddy making accessibility more difficult.

At Shustoke you're welcome to walk your furry friend.

Due to the nature and wildlife on site, you will need to keep your dog on a lead at all times.


General information

A little bit about Shustoke

  • The construction of Shustoke was complete in 1884.
  • About 10% of the water from Shustoke supplies Coventry with the rest going to Nuneaton and the surrounding districts of Bedworth and Atherstone.
  • The water is gravity fed by the nearby River Bourne which runs along the north of the two reservoirs.
  • The reservoirs consist of a settling pool of 7.8 acres and a storage reservoir of 92 acres. Combined they have a capacity of around 460,000,000  gallons.
