As you’ll be aware the Environment Agency have been carrying out some vital flood defence work on Beales Corner. Now that their scheme is near completion Severn Trent can carry out works required to help keep the community moving during high waters.
In past flood events, we’ve needed access to the manhole chambers at the junction of Kidderminster Road and Stourport Road. To help reduce future disruption to traffic, we’re now relocating these chambers to a more accessible location. We are now able to complete these works, which will take place on Kidderminster Road and Stourport Road from October 1 2025 and expect the works to last approximately 6 weeks.
