Water Supply Interruptions in Chaddesley Corbett, Kidderminster
Customers in the Chaddesley Corbett, Kidderminster, area of DY10 may be without water or have lower water pressure than normal this morning. This is due to a burst water pipe on Cakebole Lane, we have engineers on site working hard to get the water back to normal as soon as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Repair Update
Following on from our previous update we have identified the cause of the supply interruption/dip in your water pressure which is a burst pipe on Cakebole Lane, gangs are onsite and digging down to get to the broken pipe and looking to get this resolve as quick as possible.
We would like to apologise again for any inconvenience this may be causing and thank you for your patience while we're carrying out this work.

The gang are in the final stages of the repair, we have dug out the burst water pipe that has affected the pressure in the area and installing a piece. We are hoping to have the water back on soon.

Supply restored
We are happy to confirm that our teams have resolved the issue and all supplies are back on as normal.
You will still see us continuing to work in the area to finish off the repair however this shouldn't affect your water supply. Thank you for your cooperation whilst this was ongoing.

Burst Water Pipe
Following on from our previous update, we have identified the cause of the supply interruption/dip in your water pressure as a burst water pipe on Long More Road. Our engineers are already on site assessing the burst and will begin working on the repair as soon as possible. We really appreciate your patience whilst we work to get this resolved and we’ll continue to post updates here to keep you fully informed.

We’re really sorry if you’re still experiencing issues with your water. We’d just like to let you know that we’re still on site and gangs are digging down to the water main to find the fault and get a repair carried out. Bottled water has been dropped off for those that have been affected.

Supply Update
Following on from our previous update, we’d like to provide you with an update on the situation.
We would like to say sorry for the continued disruption to your water supply recently that have been caused by additional bursts on our network.
The crews on site have carried out the repairs and we are in the process of reintroducing the water back to the network but this is a slow process and will take a bit of time to repressurise the water main.
We have also arranged for more bottled water to be dropped off for those that have been affected.
