Draycote Water
Draycote Water is a 240-hectare reservoir and country park that draws its water from River Leam which then supplies drinking water to Rugby and Coventry. Draycote Water has everything you need for a great day out, with plenty of activities and things to do.
Work at Hensborough Embankment
We’re doing some work to allow us to lower the reservoir water level quickly and safely in the case of an emergency. This is to meet the new Government regulations and will be operational by December 2023 with work continuing on site until March 2024. We are working hard to open the route as soon as possible but this may need to stay closed until work is complete.
Toft Culvert
We plan to fill in an existing culvert under the Toft Embankment and remove the pipework within. Access to the upper and lower dam road will be maintained however there will be some interface between public vehicles and plant vehicles entering and exiting the site on the lower road. Work planned to start mid - September for 6 weeks.
