Make your own mosaic star Christmas tree decorations

Children and families can work together to make a memorable Christmas decoration to hang on your Christmas tree. Choose a clay heart or star, pre-prepared and ready for you to decorate with lovely pieces of mosaics. Add a thread and take your creation away to dry and pop onto your Christmas tree. £10 per person (adults there to supervise and help their kids will not need to pay) Sunday 8th December from 1pm to 2pm.

Family wreath making inspired by local river birds

Join us for some festive, crafty fun. Artist, Jamila, will be running a wreath making session, inspired by local river birds and using mainly recycled materials. It’s a great activity to bring the family together and create something special to take home this Christmas. £10 per person. Saturday 14th December from 11am to 12:30pm.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for kids to come along and have some festive clay modelling fun. You’ll get to take home your own clay model at the end of the workshop. £10 per child. Sunday 15th December from 2pm to 3pm.

Santa’s elves have run away with some of the letters that kids have been writing in to Santa. Help us track them down and find out what presents kids have been asking for. Find at least five elves and identify the present associated with those elves in order to complete the trail and earn a craft pack to take away. Trail maps can be purchased from the Carsington Water Visitor Centre from 10am to 3.30pm. £3 per trail map.
