Competition : Car Parking Monthly Prize Draw

Prize draw is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. 

The competition excludes those involved in Severn Trent Water Limited’s or HD’s organisation, employees of STW or HD and Severn Trent Group companies.

Severn Trent reserve the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant and to refuse entry at its discretion.

Entrants can only enter the competition once and one entrant can only enter per household.

To enter the competition, entrants must complete the full questionnaire via this link https://forms.office.com/e/ScaX5LAaYQ. Entrants will need to satisfy criterions above and meet the eligibility requirements to enter the competition.  

Entrants will need to provide their full name, email address and phone number.

If an Entrant wishes to opt out of entering the competition, they can select ‘no’ to entering their details at the end of the form.

Entries received after the Competition Period will not be included in the competition.

One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received in the Competition Period.

The Winner will be notified by Severn Trent within 28 days of the Competition Period end date by the email address or phone number provided upon entry.

If any Winner has not acknowledged receipt of winning the Prize 14 days of being first notified by Severn Trent, Severn Trent shall have the right to select another winning entry. In the event of a new prize winner being selected at random, the original winner shall not be entitled to any prize or to any payment or compensation whatsoever in lieu of a prize.

The Winner will receive a 12-month car parking permit for one of the following visitor sites: Carsington Water, Draycote Water, Tittesworth Water, Linacre or Shustoke (the “Prize”).

The Winner will be entitled to register up to two cars from the same household and will be asked to register the car number plates. Contact details and car number plates can be updated if changed, by calling 03306780701.

The Prize can be used any time during normal business hours of the site chosen. Opening times can be found on our visitor sites webpage (https://www.stwater.co.uk/our-visitor-sites/).

The Winner’s Prize is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of STW notifying the Winner.

The Winner’s Prize will automatically terminate on the anniversary of registration. The Winner will be entitled to renew the Prize for the following year, at their own cost.

The Prize shall be subject to the Visitor Site Membership T&Cs (https://www.stwater.co.uk/our-visitor-sites/visitor-site-memberships/).

The Prize will be subject to availability and is non-transferable. No cash or alternative to the Prize will be offered.

Severn Trent cannot be held responsible for any restrictions or issues with entering the competition.

Each entrant should take their own adequate measures to protect against viruses, security or any exploitation.

Severn Trent regret that they cannot accept liability for any:

• third parties to fulfil the obligations involved in this competition.
• Failure of entrants to comply with the competition rules
• Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any matter for which it is not permitted by law to exclude or limit, or to attempt to exclude or limit its liability

Severn Trent will not be responsible for any entries not received by it for any reason, by the end of the Competition Period. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes any entries that are lost, delayed due to technical difficulties or malfunctions.

Severn Trent is a “controller” of personal data of competition entrants and is responsible for ensuring personal data is used in line with data protection laws (the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Data Protection Act 2018 (“DPA”)).

Severn Trent will hold and process all personal data as stated in the Customer Promise found here  

Personal data will only be retained as per the retention schedule and no longer than three (3) months after sending the Prize.

Each clause in these terms and conditions operates separately. If any part of found by a court to be unreasonable or unenforceable the other parts will continue to apply.

These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
