Rugby Road
Cubbington, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
We’re investing in Cubbington's & Weston under Wetherley's future
As part of a major upgrade to the water network across Warwick, we’ll be replacing old water pipes on Rugby Road and the surrounding streets with new ones over the next 3 years, starting in September. This essential work is part of our huge investment in the Midlands to reduce the risk of leaks and bursts, improve reliability, and ensure your supply of wonderful water stays strong for generations to come.
We know there’s a lot happening across Warwick right now and this is one of several big infrastructure projects in the area. Over the next few years, we will be investing and upgrading in other areas in Warwick so we will be working closely with local partners to keep disruption to a minimum while we carry out this vital work.
We’re aiming to begin works in Western under Wetherley by the end of September 2025, starting along the main road and including some side streets and cul-de-sacs. While we aim to complete the full upgrade works by 2028, please note that the team may need to move in and out of the area at different stages. So, if you don’t see us for a while, there’s no need to worry, we’ll be back!
We’ll be in touch again shortly with a confirmed starting location and date.
Throughout the works, there will be a mix of traffic lights and road closures to help manage access and safety.
Access to homes, businesses and emergency vehicles will always be maintained, and signed diversion routes will be in place when needed. Please bear with our team as they make the area safe for everyone.
