We’re investing in Nottingham's future
The site has served the community for many years but now needs some improvements.
We’re investing around 4 million in your local water infrastructure by carrying out essential upgrades. This work will help extend the facility’s lifespan and ensure a more reliable and resilient water supply for the future, as well as prepare us for a changing climate and increasing demand.
We will be upgrading and adding new assets such as replacing old pipework and installing a new kiosk.
Work on the Halam site will begin summer 2025 and will take approximately 24 months to complete. We’ll be working during usual working hours, so 7:30am to 17:00pm.
The work will be carried out in phases, and we will continue to update you throughout the work.
We want to inform you that we will soon start to set up the site in preparation for the upcoming construction works. These initial activities are essential to ensure a smooth and efficient start to the main construction work.
Startup activities will include:
• Delivery and installation of equipment and materials
• Vegetation clearance (we will reinstate the area by planting back any trees and shrubs removed)
