Draycote Water TLWR

Warwickshire

Please note:

The circular track remains closed between the Visitor Hub and the memorial garden while work continues.

In the meantime:

  • Parking stays at our lowest flat rate
  • Permit holders have extensions applied
  • New permits are valid for 18 months

Thank you for your patience and continued support as we carry out these important improvements.

We’re investing in Warwickshire's future

To make sure we can deliver clean drinking water to our customers when and where it’s needed, we need to carry out some essential upgrade work to our Draycote Water Reservoir to ensure it can meet the demands of a modern community. We’re increasing the capacity of the reservoir so that we have enough water for all our customers during the increasingly hot summers.

To achieve this, we will be digging down into each of the dam embankments and adding additional clay material. This will help to make the ground more waterproof, and allow us to store more water. We will also be carrying out some improvements on the inlet structure and overflow weir which are located around the reservoir.

Work will start on site in September 2025 and we expect it to be completed by July 2026.

We are starting work soon and we would love to know what you think about our communication so far. If we have contacted you about works, please leave your feedback here.
