We’re investing in Bromsgrove's future
We’re committed to making sure our customers receive a continuous supply of water now and in the future. So, we’re upgrading part of our water network in the Bromsgrove area. We’ll be installing approximately 3.5 kilometres of new water pipes, from Bournheath DSR off Rocky Lane to the A448 Kidderminster Road.
- We plan to start work on our new water main in January 2026 and complete by the end of June 2026
- Our new water main will run from Bournheath DSR off Rocky Lane to the A448 Kidderminster Road
- We’ll have various types of traffic management in place where our new water main crosses the highway
- We’ll write to you again once we have confirmed dates for our highway works.
We’re installing new water pipes in the Bromsgrove area as we recognise the need to upgrade part of our water network. We plan to start in January 2026, initially we’ll clear any vegetation that is on the route of the new water main. We’ll only be removing the minimal amount of vegetation, which will be approximately the width of the working area required to install the new main. We will then start in private land, fencing off our working area and stripping the topsoil, storing it along the route of the pipeline. We’ll also start laying the new water main in the highways. We’ll write to you again before we carry out works in the highway, detailing the traffic management for each section of planned highway work. We plan to complete our works in the highways and private land by the end of June 2026.
Please be aware that although we try to stick to these dates, they may change due to circumstances beyond our control.
