Breamfield DSR

You may not be aware, but as well as our large reservoirs like Carsington Water, Severn Trent has lots of small reservoirs dotted around that supply our water network. One such reservoir is located off Breamfield Lane, Wirksworth Moor, and to ensure it can continue to serve the area for years to come we need to expand it. In between now and the expected completion of the project in winter 2026, we will be spending £11million on improvements to the facility.
In addition to this we will be installing an outfall pipe in the to the north of Breamfield Lane, which will provide drainage for the reservoir during wet weather.
