Villagers from Leicestershire-Nottinghamshire border invited to drop-in session by Severn Trent

29th January 2018

Water company Severn Trent has invited villagers from the Leicestershire-Nottinghamshire border to a drop-in session to talk about issues with the water supply in the area.

The session takes place at Barkestone Church in Jericho Lane (NG13 0HF) on Wednesday between 10am and 8pm.

The villages that are being targeted by the event include Bottesford, Barkestone, Waltham on the Wolds, Stathern, Redmile and Plungar.

Karen Enderby, Customer Operations Manager for Leicestershire, said: “We’re very aware there have been a number of different problems in the area recently and we wanted to give local people the chance to ask any questions they might have.

“We’ll have teams from across Severn Trent available – including engineering, alternative supplies and customer relations – so we should be able to deal with any queries that come up during the day.”

Refreshments will be provided during the day.
