Severn Trent invites customers to Rugby drop-in session ahead of £1.57m investment

Monday 18 July 2022

Severn Trent is inviting customers in Rugby to attend a drop-in session to learn more about its £1.57 million programme of improvements to the town’s water network.

The latest phase of the works will see the installation of new water pipes in and around Oliver Street. Residents will have the opportunity to view the plans and speak with members of the team at  a customer information session at the Indian Community Centre, Edward Street, Rugby, CV21 2EZ on Thursday 21st July from 3.00pm to 6.30pm.

Lisa Orme from Severn Trent said: “Our drop-in sessions provide a great opportunity for customers to ask us any questions about the work and for us to find out more about the area. Customer feedback is really important to us, and we look forward to meeting residents to discuss these network upgrades which will benefit the Rugby community for generations to come.”

In order to keep both the engineers and other road users safe, it is sometimes necessary to put temporary traffic restrictions in place, however any planned traffic management will be communicated to those impacted ahead of time.

Anyone who has any questions about the work but is unable to attend the event can contact Lisa Orme at Severn Trent on 07790 845234.
