Severn Trent complete works in Buxton

Severn Trent has thanked customers in Buxton for their continued patience over the past month, after maintenance works on the water network come to an end.

The work was undertaken in the Fairfield area of Buxton to help protect water supplies and ensure that the people of Buxton have wonderful water for years to come.

Lisa Orme, from Severn Trent, said: “We’d like to thank the residents of Buxton for their understanding and patience while we’ve been working in the area. We know that these works have been carried out in what can be a very busy area, and we’re really grateful for everyone’s cooperation.

Severn Trent contractor partner Amey completed the work on behalf of the company.

Lisa added: “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to keep our promise and get everything done by the end of April. We started work back in March, carrying out maintenance on the water pipe network to secure residents water supplies for the future.”
