As Storm Doris hits the region, Severn Trent outlines flooding responsibilities

23 February 2017

With Storm Doris hitting the region during the day, Severn Trent has produced this handy infographic to show which agency has responsibility for types of flooding if the worst comes to the worst.

Severn Trent has responsibility for sewer flooding across the Midlands and into mid-Wales for our eight million customers. If you have an issue with internal or external sewer flooding simply call us on 0800 783 4444 and we'll get someone out to help you as soon as we can.

All other flooding, whether rivers or highways, is dealt with by either the Environment Agency or by your local authority, which will have plans in place to help you out.
