Time to get Wild Brushing
Show us how you're Wild Brushing this summer - for the chance to win a £500 Skiddle gift card.
Whether it's brushing your teeth with a fraction of the water you used to, or just getting creative with the idea of noticing what you use, we want to see it. Entries can be submitted via TikTok using the hashtag #wildbrushing and tagging @severntrent. A winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries.

Terms and conditions
The organiser of this competition is Severn Trent Water Limited (“Severn Trent”), of Severn Trent Centre, 2 St John’s Street, Coventry, CV1 2LZ.
By entering this competition, you consent and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, along with our privacy policy. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read and abided by them.
If you do not comply with these terms and conditions, Severn Trent may refuse entry, or refuse to award any prize to you.
Please note:
- Severn Trent reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the competition in whole or in part at any time where it becomes necessary to do so.
- The decision by Severn Trent on all matters relating to the competition is final and binding. No discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
The competition opens at 00:01 on Tuesday 1st September 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Tuesday 6th October 2026. Any entries received outside of this period will not be considered.
The competition is open to all residents living within the Severn Trent Water service area who are aged 16 years or over at the time of entry, except for those employed by Severn Trent or involved in organising or administering this competition.
Proof of age, identity and residency may be requested. Severn Trent reserve the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant and to refuse entry at its discretion.
Entrants will need to have access to the internet to enter. Entry to the competition is free.
To be entered into the competition, you must:
- Create and upload a video to their own TikTok account.
- Ensure the video is at least 15 seconds long.
- Include the hashtag #WildBrushing in the post.
- Tag Severn Trent’s official TikTok account @severntrent
- Publish the video during the competition period.
Multiple entries not accepted.
Entries must not:
- Include offensive, unlawful, harmful, discriminatory or inappropriate content.
- Involve or feature any person who has not given their permission to be in the entry.
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Contain commercial content advertising any third party.
- Contain content that Severn Trent considers unsuitable or inconsistent with the aims of the campaign.
Severn Trent reserves the right to remove any entry from consideration at its discretion, including where these requirements are not met.
By entering the competition, you grant Severn Trent a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, share and use submitted content which is included in your entry to its official TikTok account.
Any use of content featuring an entrant under 18 may be subject to any additional permissions required by Severn Trent, which will be communicated to the relevant entrants or their parent or legal guardian where necessary.
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received between the start and end dates stated above.
The prize draw will take place within ten days of the competition closing date.
All eligible entries will have an equal chance of winning. No element of skill, merit or judgement will be used in selecting the winner.
The draw will be conducted by Severn Trent or a person acting on its behalf using a random selection process.
The winner will be notified using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within seven days, Severn Trent reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
The result of the prize draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
The winner will be notified by TikTok Direct Message following the competition closing date.
In order to claim a prize, the winner may be asked to provide their full name, email address, confirmation of age and confirmation of their residency within the Severn Trent Water service area.
If the winner is under the age of 18, they will only be eligible to receive their prize if a parent or legal guardian provides consent. Where the winner is under the age of 18:
The winner will be asked to provide the name and email address of their parent or legal guardian.
A parent or legal guardian must confirm, via email, that they consent to:
The entrant participating in the competition;
Severn Trent contacting them for prize fulfilment purposes;
The prize being awarded to the entrant.
No prize will be awarded to a winner under the age of 18 unless parental or legal guardian consent has been received and verified to Severn Trent’s satisfaction.
If the winner (or their parent or legal guardian where the winner is under the age of 18) does not respond to Severn Trent within seven days of being contacted, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Severn Trent will be entitled to select another winner, following the process described above.
The winner will receive the prize of one x £500 Skiddle voucher.

The prize will be sent to a winner's email address, within ten days of being notified of their win or, if the winner is under the age of 18, within ten days of their parent or legal guardian providing consent.
The prize will be subject to availability, is non-transferable and no cash or alternative will be offered.
Severn Trent reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Severn Trent's control makes it necessary to do so.
To comply with its legal obligation to make information available to show that a valid award took place, Severn Trent will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails marketing@severntrent.co.uk or writes to the Communications Team, Severn Trent Centre, 2 St John’s Street, Coventry, CV1 2LZ (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated above. If you object to your surname and/or county being made available, please contact Severn Trent by emailing marketing@severntrent.co.uk. In such circumstances, Severn Trent must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Severn Trent accepts no responsibility for entries not completed or received by the closing date due to a technical fault or malfunction or a computer, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
As far as the law allows, Severn Trent, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by Severn Trent's negligence, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Severn Trent is a “controller” of personal data of competition entrants and will comply with all applicable requirements of UK data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 as it forms part of the law of England and Wales ("UK GDPR"), the Data Protection Act 2018 (“DPA”), the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 SI 2003/2426 ("PECR") and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 ("DUAA").
Severn Trent will hold and process all personal data as set out in Severn Trent's privacy policy, found here: Privacy policy. Personal data will only be retained for thirty days after sending the prize.

These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
Each clause in these terms and conditions operates separately. If any part is found by a court to be invalid or unenforceable the other parts will continue to apply.
