How we work out assessed bills

If you've tried, and are unable to have a water meter fitted, you will be billed on an assessed charge tariff.

Assessed charges are based on the average metered water charges of properties like yours. If you live alone,  you may be on the Single Occupier Assessed Charge.

Front of your bill

The front of the bill provides a summary of your account information and the price of your bill.

 

Back of your bill

The back page of your bill shows more detailed information about your account and your charges.

 

Switching to a metered bill

Switching to a meter can help you save both water and money. It's likely we've tried to fit a meter at your property in the past and not been able to. If you think a meter fit may now be possible, you can apply for a meter again.
