Ofwat’s Cost Change Process allows water companies to request adjustments to their funding between price reviews in specific areas, if there is clear evidence that additional investment is required.
In our May 2026 submission, we have set out updated investment plans in the areas of asset health and regional growth. These are areas where there is strong evidence to identify a no-regrets investment where acting now will avoid higher costs and greater risks later.
We have tested these proposals with around 2,200 customers, ensuring that stepping up investment on an already ambitious plan is the right thing to do. Ofwat will make its draft decisions on our plans in summer 2026.
