Our Leicestershire county covers the city of Leicester and the surrounding area.
Year on year we have seen the benefits of our targeted mains flushing and cleansing programme as we saw a 25% improvement in the number of drinking water quality complaints.
As a company we’ve had a big focus on reducing repeat flooding events and in Leicestershire we reduced the number for the third year in a row.
A big success for us came in collaboration with Leicester City Council working to reduce the risk of flooding. This joint project provided property level flood resilience measures to reduce the risk of all types of flooding.
We’ve also seen over 70 food service establishments fit new traps to stop fats, oils and greases getting in to the sewers.
As part of our commitment to be a socially purposeful company we have helped customers through our Big Difference support scheme ,helped customers during an incident through our Priority Services Register and educated local school children about water efficiency and sewer misuse.
You can find out about or performance and some of the great things we’ve done in your area by viewing individual counties.
