We have laid about 4.5km of water main so far, work is progressing well.

New pipeline

We’re investing 11million to make Stroud’s drinking water supply even more resilient for the future. We'll begin working in mid-late summer 2018 until winter 2019 installing 16km of pipe from Whaddon near Gloucester to Minchinhampton Common near Stroud. Bringing wonderful water to 55,000 customers.

Archaeological findings

This area produced multiple agricultural features and significant quantities of Iron Age and in particular, Roman pottery.
