Playground area

We plan to remove the playground in equipment during week commencing 14 October 2019. Following this we will start the preparation works in the green open space opposite properties 11 to 13 and 19 to 23 Renard Rise. We will create an access off Ebley Road and securely fence the working area. We will then remove the topsoil and store it on site. All equipment and materials will be delivered to the site from Ebley Road and we will have temporary traffic lights in place during these deliveries. Part of the scheme involves constructing the new water main under the railway line and this will be done using a tunnelling technique. In early November we will start the construction of the pits for the tunnel machine and these should take approximately four weeks to construct. We plan to commence the tunnelling under the railway line in early December and take approximately 10 days to complete. The location of the work can be found on the rear diagram.
