Work in progress
Ebley Road

This week we plan to lay the new water pipe between the railway line and Ebley Road and take two - three weeks to complete. Following this final work we begin the reinstatement of the land where we've already worked.

Work completed
Ebley Road

During week commencing 25 November 2019, we will begin to construct the pit adjacent to 22 & 23 Renard Rise and this should take approximately one week to complete. The sound proof panels will be placed on the fencing. We plan to commence the tunnelling under the railway line during week commencing 2 December and take two weeks to complete. When we are tunnelling directly under the railway tracks, we will be carrying out 24-hour working, and this will be done between 9 -11 December 2019. There may be additional noise and lighting during this night working and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. The tunnel machine will start on the Renard Rise side.
