In My Area

Severn Ham, Tewkesbury

Every so often, we need to replace old water pipes, which does mean that there’ll be some short-term inconvenience – but the advantage of having brand new pipes will be worth it and will secure the water network for the future.

Our progress so far

The work started in the field south of Mythe Water Treatment Works week commencing 5th April 2021, before moving on to The Severn Ham. The work should take approximately seven months to complete in total. You may notice increased activity by our contractors before this work starting in order to set up the working site in advance.

Upcoming work

Although it’s really important, we also know our work can be inconvenient. In order to maintain access within the Severn Ham for all public, livestock and agricultural machinery, defined crossing points and alternative footpath routes will be put in place, throughout the duration of the works.

Work is still on going but all temporary traffic control measures have now been removed.
