In My Area
Our progress so far
We’re going to be replacing some of the ageing pipes that have caused problems in the surrounding area. We’re working with organisations such as Historic England, Natural England and the local authorities in order to find a safe and secure route for the replacement pipe that won’t affect the sensitive spots in the area. The complexity of this scheme means that we need to do lots of work to make sure that the solution is the right one for everyone.
UPCOMING

Upcoming work
This work is due to start week commencing 4th January 2021. Much of it will take place in private land, and we’re liaising with those landowners to minimise the impact of our works. Some of the site investigation work will be on public footpaths/tracks, but we’ll make sure that they’re still accessible.

As we’ll be digging a number of investigation holes, in or next to the road, we’ll set up temporary traffic lights to ensure everyone’s safety. During this work access to properties and traffic flow will be maintained.
