What happens to my current bill now that I have had a meter fitted?

Meter installation
You will only be billed on a metered basis from the date of installation, if you have already paid an unmetered bill any credit will be transferred to your new metered account.  Any outstanding unmetered charges up to the date of installation will remain payable.
