I am moving house soon, will I get a refund?

Tell us you're moving

You should let us know when you are moving house so we can close your account and issue any refunds.

You can tell us you're moving through your online account, you can let us know on webchat, or you can send us an email.

You can also call us on 0345 7500 500, or write to us at Severn Trent, PO Box 407, Darlington, DL1 9WD.

Once you've told us you're moving, we will close your account and send you a bill.

Moving out of the Severn Trent area

If you're moving out of the Severn Trent area, and your account is in credit, we will refund you.

You will receive the refund within 14 days of your account closing.

Moving within the Severn Trent area

If you're moving within Severn Trent's area, and you're due a refund, we will add credit the account for your new home.
