Recovery Fund

As part of our £1m Coronavirus Emergency Fund, we’ve created a Recovery Fund to help charities and non-profit organisations who need a helping hand to get back on their feet as life starts getting back to normal.

UPDATE: Almost all our funds have been allocated!
We can now only take applications from our Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Shropshire and Chester regions.

To be eligible for this support your organisation must be:

  • A charity or not-for-profit organisation with appropriate governance;
  • Located in the Severn Trent region;
  • Focused on improving community wellbeing, through one or more of these 3 key elements:
    • People: charities that help people lead a happy and healthy life and gain new skills;
    • Place: community groups that provide space to communities, to live in and use;
    • Environment: organisations that help look after our natural environment or give people better access to the environment.

If you’re not sure if your organisation is within our region, you can check using the Water UK supplier finder.

Please be aware that there is a set amount of funds available, so as much as we’d love to, we may not be able to support every organisation who applies to us.

It’s really important to us to give the help where its most needed, so charities and organisations who have lower income levels and who are unable to obtain funding from other sources will be prioritised.

All applications will be considered on an individual basis when we receive them and will be reviewed for support in line with our eligibility criteria and these priorities. Once all the money available has been allocated, the fund will be closed.
