From 1 April 2017, the non-household water market in England opened to competition. This means non-household (business) customers are able to choose their water retailer for services like billing, meter reading and help with saving water.
Since April, Water Plus has been fulfilling the role of the retailer for your water and/or wastewater services acting as our agent. This means that they’ve managed your account, including sending your bills, dealing with complaints and queries and collecting your payments.
On 15 December 2017, we applied to the Secretary of State to exit the retail market for non-household customers. If approved, it is our intention to exit the retail market on 1 April 2018.
