Coronavirus (Covid-19) response information
Following the latest advice from the government, we have adapted our ways of working that will in turn help protect all of our customers, our staff and the community we serve.
Here’s a summary of what we have done and what this means for you.
Office based teams
We currently have a small team operating in our office whilst the majority continue to work from home.
Our phonelines are open to deal with any queries you may have,
we can be contacted on 0800 707 6600 from 09:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday and
09:00 – 15:30 on a Friday. You can also email us at new.connections@severntrent.co.uk
Submitting your application
The best way is to submit your application online. This will allow you to pay online and help us process your application in a timely manner.
You can continue to send your applications and cheque payments through the post, these are being picked up as usual.
Application queries
- Firstly, please visit our FAQ page that may be able to help.
- Use our webchat service which will pop up at the side of your screen during office hours when you visit our building and developing pages.
- For any general enquiries you can email us.

Field based teams
We have been defined as key workers which allows us to continue providing the essential service of keeping water flowing; this includes the enabling of water and sewerage connections.
Site inspections
As key workers we’re currently undertaking onsite inspections, whilst maintaining high levels of safety for our teams and our customers. Sometimes it might be necessary for us to undertake virtual inspections, we’ll be happy to discuss these options with you.

Connections
We’re currently continuing to deliver our connection schedule. If you’re already booked in for a connection this will continue as planned. If we do need to change the date, we will contact you.

Although this may not always be possible due to the current circumstances, if you're trying to get in touch with your dedicated contact who is supporting you with your development, we are doing everything we can to support so please get in touch.

Complaints
Although we do our best to get things right first time, we appreciate that this will not always be the case.
