Coronavirus (Covid-19) response information

Following the latest advice from the government, we have adapted our ways of working that will in turn help protect all of our customers, our staff and the community we serve.

Here’s a summary of what we have done and what this means for you. 

Office based teams

We currently have a small team operating in our office whilst the majority continue to work from home.

In the first instance we would encourage you to contact us via email but if you really wish to speak to someone about a general enquiry our phone lines are open on 0800 707 6600, as we only have limited agents available to answer calls it is taking a little longer than usual to answer. You can also leave us a voicemail on our phone lines that we are picking up within 3 working hours.

Submitting your application

The best way is to submit your application online. This will allow you to pay online and help us process your application in a timely manner. 

You can continue to send your applications and cheque payments through the post.  However, as we have less colleagues working currently it might take us a little longer than usual to process these.

Field based teams

We have been defined as key workers which allows us to continue providing the essential service of keeping water flowing; this includes the enabling of water and sewerage connections. 

Site inspections

To safeguard our colleagues, customers and the community our inspections will take place virtually, either by video call or through the use of photos. Our scheduling team will support you through this once you’re at this stage.

We’re currently continuing to deliver our connection schedule. If you’re already booked in for a connection this will continue as planned. If we do need to change the date, we will contact you.
