Update on work to replace sewers in Leamington

Severn Trent Water is making good progress on its work to replace the sewers in Cubbington Road, between Lonsdale Road and South View Road, in Leamington. As part of this work, the company will have to close Cubbington Road from Tuesday 3rd July for 10 weeks and put a diversion in place.

Chris Keys, senior programme engineer at Severn Trent Water, explains: "This section of work will help towards preventing sewer flooding for homes in the Parklands Ave area. This work is separate to the main sewer replacement work we were doing in the centre of Leamington and the existing sewers in Epsom Road, Meadow Close, Parklands Avenue, Cubbington Road and Oakridge Road are all going to be replaced to reduce the risk of flooding for our customers.

"We understand that we are doing a lot of work in Leamington at the moment and we know road works can be disruptive, but all of this work is essential to make sure we can provide a quality sewerage service to our customers in Leamington for many years to come. We appreciate our customers’ patience till now and ask for their further understanding whilst we complete this work."
