If you're not part of our WaterMark scheme already, maybe it's time you applied, provided you can satisfy certain qualification levels and agree to be audited by Severn Trent Water supply technicians, we will be happy to include you on the scheme.

We'll pass your company name to customers in your area, supply you with WaterMark logos for your vans and ads, and send you regular copies of the WaterMark Journal.

What's in it for you?

The WaterMark Scheme is easy to join. Once you're on our list, you'll benefit in a whole range of ways:

  • You'll be able to certify your own work, without having to wait for a Severn Trent Water inspector to do the necessary paperwork.
  • We'll pass your name on to any customers in your area who call us when you need a plumber.
  • We'll publicise the WaterMark scheme in our own publications and in the Yellow Pages.
  • We'll supply you with a 'WaterMark' that you can use on your vans and in your own advertising.
  • Plus, you'll receive regular copies of the WaterMark Journal, packed with news, trade information, new products and a round-up of any regulatory developments.

What's in it for us?

First and foremost, the WaterMark scheme means that we can give our customers even better service.

By putting them in touch with a recognised, reputable local plumber, we'll be able to offer a service which we simply haven't had before.

And, because you'll be certifying your own work, we can work together more efficiently.

How to make sure you're approved

Not everyone can join the WaterMark scheme. You will need to provide evidence of at least one of the following qualifications (original certificates to be presented):

  • A City & Guilds certificate in plumbing.
  • An NVQ Level 2 certificate in: Mechanical Services Engineering (Plumbing). Level 2 Ref: Q1014057 and/or Level 3 Ref: Q1014058.
  • Have completed a formal Apprenticeship in plumbing.
  • In addition, you need to have attended an approved training course in relation to The Regulations and also have to agree to certify your own work in the future.

Provided you meet those conditions, you can enrol as a Severn Trent Water Approved Contractor.

You can apply by reading out  WaterMark Terms & Conditions  and calling 01332 683 711.
