Reservoir activities

Visiting our sites makes for a full, enjoyable and fun-packed day out. We have lots of activities so there is something for everyone. For those visitors who would like a gentle meander around one of our sites, the majority have great recreational facilities including:

Visitor centres, gift shops, restaurants, adventure playgrounds, picnic areas, conservation and education programmes; plus seasonal events and activities. For the more active visitor, why not try one of our many activities and experiences outlined below.

  • Many of our sites offer the chance to enjoy the thrill of the open water using a variety of craft and equipment. Try your hand at sailing, windsurfing and canoeing, and more.
  • Our visitor sites are a home to a wide range of species of birds and animals. All of our reservoirs make a great day out for wildlife enthusiasts, looking for somewhere to explore.
  • Our reservoirs host a variety of fun events. Search our calender to find children's activities, guided walks and wildlife workshops.
  • Explore Linacre's footpaths and trails, crisscrossing through the valley. Take in stunning views, and keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife.
