I cannot afford to pay my bill. What can I do?

Contact us immediately if you think you can’t afford your bill. If we don’t know your situation, we automatically begin court action to recover what is owed. This can mean legal costs and an even higher bill for you.

If you’re in exceptional hardship, the Severn Trent Trust Fund may be able to help. It is an independent charitable trust set up to assist people in financial difficulty.

For more information contact Severn Trent Water, your nearest Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Neighbourhood Office or Money Advice Centre. Alternatively, you can contact the Trust on 0121 355 7766. Or write to: Severn Trent Trust Fund, Freepost Mid 16999, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1BR.
